Keeshond, Ch. Vandaban Wessex, "Hardy"

Hardy, Ch. Vandaban Wessex,
July 2007, at Foxfair

This is one of a few photos I snapped of Hardy a few weeks ago standing next to our woods. This weekend Jeannie came up for the Columbiana Show which is part of the big Mahoning Shenango, Canfield weekend. This is one of the largest shows in the country with 3,000 dogs entered each day of the four day weekend. Winning a group placement here is highly sought after and competitive, because everyone else wants one too!

At two years old in only his second weekend out at all breed shows as a special Hardy won the breed under highly respected Keeshond judge Lorraine Boutwell and place 4th in Group under well known judge Paula Hartinger. Jeannie is entered the rest of the weekend in Agility shows in Cincinnati so Hardy was only entered the one day. We are very pleased to have such a nice a start to his specials career at such a prestigous show.
